As I dug deeper from right to left, I started to find clothing from a few years ago that had been hastily stashed away. Behind that was clothing I haven't seen since college. What surprised me was when I dug further yet and found some clothing from high school and my childhood. Those breakaway pants I used to wear on gym days, that Australian hat my uncle gave me on a visit when I was in middle school...
When I reached the deepest layers, I encountered my 'box games' from when I was younger. If you had asked me to make a list of the box games in my closet as of yesterday, I would have probably struggled to get more than one or two. I've decided to share which ones they are!
First up:

Creativity for Kids: Create your own Books. I took a quick peek inside since I can barely remember this... and there are art supplies and various pads and the like. Apparently I made a dinosaur using a marker and a couple of small plastic glue-on eyes.... yeah I'm not going to photograph it rofl
Second:

Checkers: Just a typical cheap checker set... I think I'll keep it!
Third:

Tornado Rex: Oh, I have fond memories of this! Rex was a top that gets launched from the peak of the hill, and sends you back to the beginning if he hits your player piece as he slides down the incline! Awesome idea for a game.... I seriously opened it up right now and tried it out again.
Fourth:

Sidewinder: Cool idea for a head to head game... you rock your piece back and forth to get the marbles to go up to the top.... causing them to go to the opponent's side... similar to some custom sc maps the tl community has made/played before.
Fifth:

Pool Table: Mine was actually a little smaller than the one in the picture... just a small toy pool table.
Sixth:

Major League Baseball: Some board game that was basically an excuse to sell a full one-year lineup of baseball cards... which I believe I still have in a card binder in another room. Anyone like baseball cards and want to help me? lol
Seventh:

Backgammon: This one is strange... I've never played backgammon. No idea what's up with it lol.
Conclusion:
I don't think that is all the games I had; just the ones that survived the years. I know I had Life, Monopoly, Crossfire, and a few others. How nostalgic!
Maybe I'll go through the basement one day and make a new list of old things! What games do you have hidden away in a closet or attic? How old are they?
