So a few months ago I noticed my hands start hurting and feeling weird from gaming so much. I've started doing stretches and playing in a better position and stuff.

Everything has been going better, but my pinkys still hurt. Pain moving them too far, stiff, just annoying. When I'm playing Starcraft I notice my pinky is just liek sticking straight up half the time.. like.. where are you suppose to put it lol?

Has anyone had any issues like this in the past and whats the best thing to do? My mouse pinky isn't nearly as bad.

The pinky is supposed to be at CTRL.

When I have my fingers only on the numbers it sticks up lol

i suggest you rotate your keyboard 30 degrees counter clockwise and make sure your wrist is in a comfortable position. I think the reason your pinkie is in an awkward position is because your whole hand is in an awkward position.

edit - i keep my pinky on shift, thumb on space,

personally i have found that playing Toontown helps greatly this injury

Sounds like you have bad control over that finger. Practice typing with your pinky and bind something to the key left of 1. Use your pinky to hit that key, and maybe hit 1 as well. The finger grows stronger and useful and your hand will stop trying to "move it out of the way" by sticking it up.

A good movement to train is to do inward and outward fan-line movements with both hands, taking note of each finger moving separately. The strength of the pinky is augmented by a fairly strong muscle by the end of you habd, it's mostly a matter of accepting the pinky as a useful, functional finger.

How would this help? You don't ever even use your keyboard in ToonTown, you're not allowed to talk to other players.

wow i can tell you don't keep up to date with Toonpenis err.... Toontown and the community. If you know the right people you will be allowed to talk to other players for a "reasonable" price .
