i've seen replay packs of some high master or GM guys, and whenever they beat a progamer, chances are 20% for them to be flamed by them. A good example would be drewbie, Tarson or ToD.
A person with good sportsmanship would be Kas.
Why isn't anyone jumping on them for it? i thought people would value professionalism highly?

isn't it truly unprofessional if you flame random people on the ladder becaue they are beating you?

Seems kind of embarrassing to me when somebody who is part of the same community is so incredibly drama hungry. Isn't it ridiculous some people have actually lost their jobs because of some random ladder BM they said months before? You think this stuff won't drive sponsors and the big public away from the scene rather than adding into it.

who cares? Everyone gets mad like really there is no reason to get into a fuss about it. A little bm is fine if they are going all out or messaging people after game still flaming them then that's a problem but who cares ><.

Its not when they BM, its when they pull a Destiny and do it all day everyday, say terrible things to the other person that in all other circumstances would be considered verbal abuse and hate speech and then people just watch it for shits and giggles. People like IdrA, Lalush, etc. they just get angry and rage quit or say this game is dumb/fuck this game. They rarely say anything more, just a quick FU, that isn't something that isn't every day, lets be honest here, thats pretty normal. No one cares about a little BM its when it is over the top and tis just too much that people get really angry about it.
User was warned for too many mimes.

Most professionals are not only humans, they're also kids.

It's embarassing in a general sense, but the public is also quite young and so childish behaviour is accepted.
I don't think this will change. Teenagers will be teenagers.
It's also typical of the internet, where you don't have any fear of retaliation. You wouldn't go to a playground and call a stranger a "fucking faggot" because you'd get punched in the face. And so internet users understand and accept random aggressivity and profanity. But the excess of it makes it normal, and I believe less meaningful.

I don't think Tarson is a bad guy. He's always very fun to hang out with. Obviously he has a bit of templer, but who does not? It makes him look like a human instead of a machine. When he leaves without a gg on ladder... is it really a behaviour that you would consider as bad?

I really think if you want to 'judge' about a progamer you should consider how he interacts with his fans. Tarson is always glad if he can give you an autograph or shoot a photo with you. Makes me sad people call him out as sore progamer because he ragequits 3% of his games.

Almost all sports have federal authorities (on many different levels), and we have to move in that direction too. Just think about what a french national federation could do ? The money it could re-invest in funding smaller clubs ... It's a long way down the road but for France at least, national recognition (as a sports, not as an entertainment) will have to come from that.
