got back from doing some work in south america. that shit can really change you ( i hope , anyway)i came back home to toronto, found an awesome place to shoot a video. needed a song to fufill vision. took excerpts from my journal and made them rhyme and you get this -

some explanations :
the song is about like 3 things mostly, maybe this will help one to understand:
1- shamanic rituals which was my main reason for down south
"the drum beat steady" obviously. the first part, about the crow, thats all about summoning an animal spirit of power to aid you, you must become the animal if you want it to aid you.
theres the bit about horse and sheep and rolling bones. if you roll the bones and you get the horse and sheep, you are considered lucky, which i say ... luck is freeing yourself from the soil (drifting into afterlife) and your mind being free from the physical realm (those who meditate or have had certain experiences with hallucingenics will understand..)
2- lots of drug type references - put it into a bag- sisyphus wishlist ...... he is an old tale about a man pushing a rock up a hill forever basically . Pushing rock, slang for dealing drugs (put it into a bag) .... his wish would be to leave the drugs behind...
scopolamine - interesting drug in south america, recently has come up alot with myths and rumors. though if you know of "don juan" and carlos castaneda, you are familiar with "datura" ....... same thing .
"heroic dosage" is something terrence mckenna talks about a lot. 5 grams of magic mushrooms, which i have engaged in.....its the amount needed to ensure you cross over....
3 - the last is the phyiscal realm, talking about porn, drinking jack, our search for some meaning in this life.... the camera in the bathroom (which filmed me) you probably watched it from your bedroom, that's like im invading your home, im encouraging you to "take it to space" ....... dont be so quick to discard things at face value, there is a deeper current ...
take this more as a journal entry than me trying to create a hit single hahah.... it's just me being honestly myself in music and visual. there's no dance numbers or catchy chorus'. just one guy in the world trying to find his way.
Title made me go "oh man this is either gold or very bad; I should check it out" and so I did. Song was annoying. Seems like you used random visual effects in the video simply for the sake of "cool" visual effects. Sorry mate, this just wasn't entertaining or enjoyable to me.

man! it's no worries! yo usaid you laughed which i think is really special. im not justin bieber or something i just make music and videos how and when feels purest to me. this is more like someone sharing a journal entry rather than a hit single you kno? im not trying to gain praise, im just trying to stay open and vulnerable, im not scared to be me.

I watched this before any replies but couldn't bring myself to say it's pretty bad, but seeing as how others have said you the same. It's not that good dude :/
