CrazyF1r3f0x United States2120 Posts February 22 2012 00:38 GMT #2 1 Base Robo pushes are strong, but if the Terran just goes gasless 1 rax CC into 4 rax they can just crush immortal-gateway armies by massing marines and placing bunkers for defence, and (if they have too) pull SCVs. I Personally go counterattack when they do some early aggression and it fails, but gasless expo is fairly safe against all forms of aggression.

Teoita Italy12246 Posts February 22 2012 15:31 GMT #4 I guess the big question is wether you can get your econ up fast enough that you can defend a 111 with a nexus later than a 1gate fe, because seriously fuck terrans opening gas i would sell a kidney and part of my soul for a reaper/scan to scout them (/rant off). It definitely sounds really good if you are 100% sure he is doing a bio opening and you want to play safe (which imo is really good for ladder of bo1 in random small tournaments); it's somewhat comparable to any 2/3 gateway expand since you can pressure a good deal, you have the option of allining, and you slow down your econ so holding off 1base stuff might be kind of hard.
