Social drinking
It's my Faltamte's birthday today and I'm meeting the group after their restaruant to go pub hopping. Now the question is: to pregame, or not to pregame. And BW isin't installed on my computer so I'm talking to her two bottles of absolut sitting on this table. Here are the consideratios:
I've had a fantastic day and dinner (more on that later), so I don't want to drink way too much to loose it all. It will also help act as a buffer (solution <
against the effects of alcohol. Let's face it, when I drink, I do so to get drunk. Let's just say I've seen the side effects of alcoholic recreational drinking lifestyle: I don't drink otherwise as a result.So I like to manage all my intakes to get the biggest hit, then best recovery, so little eating beforehand, vitamin B, bwead, wawa, and sleep after.
I've got 15£ to spend tonight, I don't wanna waste it, and I just can't help but feel like I am if I just buy shots. Fuck, I've got enough alcohol for a coma at arm's reach (there's more, trust me, and I'm allowed {

I'm a fan of not having any at all, it's a new year's resolution and I'm building up to being able to go out, not have a drop, and still have a blast. There's a certain romantic (the movement not the movie genre) appeal to being drunk, though my toilet still smells faintly from the last time I was spouting, 2 months ago :E

This is all the true devotee needs. That was all he needed to be happy. His tools, which he's pioneered the modification of, battle.net (+LAN and replays), and good friends to sit next to him and cooperate with on their work, in good community and good cheer.
Imagine the countless days and nights Boxer would sit in that chair, surrounded by his best friends (Terrans too). Practicing away, training, thinking, discussing, stressing about his faltering sucess, being inspired and re-motivated. I see it all in this picture. Guess where Boxer and oov sat the week after, nay the weekend after EVER 2004 finals? Right next to eachother, the best friends and co-workers, the tightest buds ever.
Again, the top pic shows ALL HE NEEDED TO BE SATISFIED, and there's nothing anyone can say to detract from the validity or worth of his occupation. He was IN it, at THE TOP of his game, in his moment of glory. Glorious. Whaddya think?

I've had a great day, and in the words of the song you and I've been listening to "I feel much bettarrrr, tonight". Organized the fuck outta my room, moved around all it's furnishings (and those in the living room too), cleaned everything up, made rice in mah mini rice-cookah + sherry vinegar [to taste like Japanese vinegar rice OK] which failed so I made fried rice outta it with sketchy undercooked budget sausages [would post pic but my phone's outta battery]. Danced around, finished stuff offa my to-do list, wrote a blog, and decided that battle reports are SO MUCH MORE WORTH IT than going out and posing with people I don't care about, wasing money and getting drunk.
EDIEDIT: A rating and vote are nice but a reply or PM are much cooler :}
