I get really bad ear infections. Last one I got hurt so bad I passed out. It really is one of the most painful things I've experienced >_<

But oh god once it starts perforating and letting out the pressure - oh my god that feeling is bliss.

I had so many ear infections when i was really young (I was a very sick child) It caused many problems. I would not tell my mother when my ears were sore because it would be such a common occurance. Because I could rarely hear properly, I developed speech problems which I needed to go to a speech therapist to fix, and for the long term effects, it has severely scarred my ear drum because it would get to the point where my ear drum would rupture. MEANING I now, at age 22, have tinitus (a constant ringing in the ears) and will have for the rest of my life.
TLDR ear infections really are lame and i feel ya bro

Been cursed with Ear Infections my whole life till i moved somewhere else. Used to live in Las Vegas now in Salt Lake. Havn't gone one in 3 years. I feel your pain though. Get feeling better dude!

If hes getting oral antibotics then it prob means its middle ear. Hydrogen peroxide won't do jack squat except for make him suffer more pain when the solution hits his ear drum.

Take ur antibotics and hope ur doctor is competent enough to prescribe you the right ones.

Took two trips to the ER about a week ago.
Gave me codeine along with drops to help numb the pain and antibiotics but on the day of the 2nd ER trip I went to a specialist and he gave me some antibiotic drops and vicodin

oh and btw I noticed nothing help with the pain better than ibuprofen

i wish they had started me on codeine and then went up to vicodin. just woke up feeling absolutely miserable, took a codeine and hopefully it'll kick in soon but a vicodin would be nice.

ibuprofen is motrin, and its not doing anything for me. it did the first two times but after that, nope.
