I got an A in that class  Thankfully the other classes that semester were relatively easy and allowed for me to allocate all of my time in history.But most classes aren't like this, and if your professor is usually asking questions on quizzes and exams about general concepts and whether or not you understand the broad scheme of things work in each chapter, then do what Orome said and study more efficiently that way. The parts that you don't understand are the ones you have to actually go in the textbook and do thorough reading on and take notes to remember. | ||

still, the quality of your notes should above all be: not redundant give scope and scan of the subject in as few words as possible develop your own style of writing. for instance, in my notes i use a capital N with a line under it to denote the suffix "ation" also: if you already know something that's in the textbook or lecture, you most likely dont have to write it down. | ||
