Over time though, I think I developed a tolerance for the funny pictures. It wasn't just that a lot of the pictures I saw were reposts, a lot of the new pictures just didn't make me laugh anymore. A year after discovering the NSFW thread, I only really laughed when I was in a good mood already and someone posted some really funny pictures.
Now a days, I rarely ever laugh at the random pictures thread. I think I've built a tolerance to it. Like I can't find things in the thread funny anymore. But it's not just the funny pictures that I've built a tolerance to.
I might even be getting more apathetic to global issues. When I was younger I used to care a lot about all the political threads about when new laws were being passed, and about sensationalistic news stories (rape and murder). Now I just don't even click on those threads. I know they'll be boring. I used to feel sick every time I saw a starving African child. Now I don't even care about them. They're strangers to me, and I care less about them than I care about whether I have milk in the fridge. Same with hobos.
I'm afraid that I'll build a tolerance to everything that I find fun in life. Like things are really fun when I'm just starting them, but really quickly I just get bored of everything.

I kinda wanted to draw some comics in paint for this blog but decided that'd take too much time before watching 1hr of vods.
