EPTI have played Blizzard games since 7, Starcraft: Broodwar being my first game ever. I grew up in Korea for most of my life and I make videos on youtube and stream on justin.tv. Sounds very nerdy right? Well that's because I'm a Korean that has nothing better to do except to play games. Oh wait, I have a girlfriend so I guess I do have a life.. kind of..
Anyways, my friend 'qKz' told me about this site where many people hosts tournaments and give prizes. So we decided to join a 2v2 tourney. We won like 2 games and we just decided to rush the other team, which led us to our demise. It was not a big deal since it was just a 2 vs 2. I really don't take team games seriously.
After the epic matches, I decided to take a look at the site that my friend introduced to me. Then I got to figure out some epic tournaments that was getting hosted by the administrators every week. And of course, as a Korean, I couldn't help myself but just join the tournament.
I had a day left to practice before the tournament started. But as a guy who procrastinates everyday, I didn't really do any practice before the tournament.
And how unlucky am I! My first opponent was a pretty high ranked player. It was a ZvT and he tried some timing pushes, but I managed to block them all and counter attack. I eventually won the game and advanced to the next round.
I was really sweating by then because I was actually concentrated to the game.
Anyways, my second round was a gold ranked player. It was really easy to beat since (no offense) I think bronze to platinum players are easy to beat. And guess what? I advanced to the 3rd round.
BUT THIS TIME, I had no luck at all. I had to face a GM!!!
How unlucky am I? Before the game even started, I already felt like I was going to lose the game. I tried to focus and tell myself that I'm a pure Korean and I naturally have 'blizzard' blood inside me. But it was no use. I couldn't concentrate at all but I was super hyper to actually play against a GM in a legit tournament. So I quickly turned on my live stream and started the game against him!
It was a Zerg vs Zerg. In my case, I love the destiny's build so I just decided to go with that build. And I was actually ahead for almost half of the game! I was maxed first and our upgrade was almost the same. I harassed him with nydus and he did everything he could to harass me. At last, he won the game. But IT WAS THE BEST GAME I'VE PLAYED IN MY LIFE. It was just simply the best game.

But I can't. It just wasn't meant to be. I defended his banshee, but he hit me with a timing attack and I forgot I had probes I could pull. 
That's the kind of thing you don't forget when you make GM! It was a great experience though, he was super manner. Diamond Fighting!
