Hello everyone. I have just finished a day of watching a new season of GSL and laddering mindlessly to try and improve. It was about 12AM when it happened and I was really considering just calling it a day and going off to bed to get some well earned sleep, but I decided to give it one more game. Im so glad I did because I have just been blessed with probably my best moment in any video game I have ever played.
I clicked the find game button and drew a PvP on Metalopolis. As I dont really like the match-up, I usually just try to 4 gate the guy. This game was different though, he was 4 gating aswell which triggered a base race and what followed was pure gold. Never before have I been shaking while intensely microing 4-5 units around the map, it was just so BRILLIANT. Anyways, if you have a spare moment. please watch this game and tell me what you think of it because I have been playing starcraft 2 on and off for about a year now and I have never experience the feeling I got from this game.
The last few minutes of this game was so fun, there was warnings of a tie break and both players were revealed with 4-5 units each. The last part of this game sent me into a fit of screaming around my house for about 5 minutes when I microed my zealot to draw his army away from his pylon. I dont know why I got this feeling because I dont even care about my ladder rating, but its by far the most fun I have ever had playing games.
[PS - I am not a high level player (Platinum) so I dont really know if what happened this game is common or not but I have watched so many tourney games and I have never seen a game that is this close before.]
I'll check it out when I get home - if you want to see a crazy close game, you have got check out the TT1 - Masterasia game, it sounds really similar to yours with respect to a small number of units holding off for a really long amount of time. (Since you said you've never seen one like it before)
I had a PvT like that on steppes where I just 4 gated and sustained pressure against his double bunker FE and managed to pull a win after almost mining out my entire base, I''m sure I can dig up a VOD or replay somewhere, I'll post it and watch yours later when I have time.
Wtf where the hell is the download button?! I'm seriously going insane here. Its even taunting me with the "How to watch this replay" button.
Edit: Someone please help fast before I end up dead.
Edit 2: Ok I got it from the page that lists all your replays on that site. Still where the hell is it on the page you linked? I was seriously tweeking.

Omfg that whole area was blocked by an ad for me. >_>
Also, more on topic: Watched the game, was cute. :3 But you coulda just straight killed him if you didnt send your probes at him by themselves. :D
I had a similar super micro war resulting from 4 gate vs 4 gate recently. But instead of a base race, we just 4 gated each other for a half an hour and ran out of money. :D:D:D

Another reason for using adblockers lol. Anyway, that game with tt1 casted by HDStarcraft was absolutely sick! Will not spoil anything but damn, the ending was mindblowing lol, can't believe it....
