Which historical figure would be best at SC2?

Ive been thinking about this for a while...

I mean, you have the great generals of the past such as Hannibal and Alexander, but there are other clever minds from the past...

How would the great scientists and minds fare; the likes of Einstein and Archimedes?

How would the whizkids of the early computer age fare.. such as Berners-Lee?

Anyway, my opinion is Alexander due to his tactical brilliance, but there are so many historical greats of the past...

What is your opinion?

Reasoning would also be cool

Hmmm for a game as young as SC2 I would have to pick Galileo. It seems like he would think of his own builds and play an unorthodox style that would probably bring a lot of controversy and have him slammed at the start, but more widely accepted later on, as a pioneer in the games development.

Eh, not really sure any of them would do well given the nature of their "jobs" or lifestyle. I would also be reluctant to pick anyone based on intellectual qualities alone. I think I'd also go with the pianist of choice.

Pretty sure BoxeR qualifies as a historical figure though.

Napoleon or Alexander imo for sheer strategic brilliance. Casanova's also an outside chance with his confidence and dexterity.

Xerxes would be #1 for macro alone if his army control wasn't so terrible

What Plato wouldn't expand at all so as to not garner attention from larger enemies. He'd attain a small but manageable army and only replenish it when they died, and even then it would take too long because only the best would breed to be soldiers.

I'd say Genghis Khan.
He would make the biggest team,
Then conquer the scene.
A build is not a guess, an estimation or a hunch, a feeling, or a foolish intuition. A build is a dependable, unwavering, unarguably accurate, portrayer of your ambition.

I wonder if SC2 was out when those guys were alive, would any of them have become invested in the SC2 scene and become a progamer, thereby not becoming what they're known for?

Also Einstein hated chess, so I assume he wouldn't like SC2 either.

My money's on Newton. When the apple hit him on the head he'd discover the uses of Graviton Beam and revolutionise Protoss play.

Sergey Vasil'evich Rakhmaninov

Giant hands, master pianist, genius composer. Something tells me he would be amazing at Brood War, as well as Starcraft 2.

Rachmaninoff has BIG hands. As a result, he should be able to reach the most awkward of hotkeys with ease and thus may have some nice EAPM.

Lizst probably will have some (Z)hero-esque APM spam. His keyboards may not last long.

Chopin probably doesn't want to break his nails or strain his pretty fingers, so he'll have some Sjow APM.

Paganini also probably can beast it up in SC2 with some extremely fast play.

In fact, I think most historical woodwind, piano, and string players would be awesome at SC2. Brass and percussion players would be better off playing console games, however.

To be serious, though, one would have to be not only quick APM-wise, but would also have to have really good reflexes, game sense, very high pragmatic intelligence, and amazing improvisational skills.
Failure is not falling down over and over again. Failure is refusing to get back up.

Eh, I would equate him to those bronze level players that sit on 8 probes and just mass cannon at their front for defenses while other players just drop in their base.
