Reason

So I've been using Cubase for making most of my music and recently cubase has been bugging out on me and I want to start using a new program. I was thinking on getting Reason 5 or Logic Studio 9. I was wondering if anyone knows if you can install Reason on PC and Mac both? I have a PC but I also plan on buying a macbook pro in the future. Windows just gives me too many headaches with sound drivers failing on me and what not. Also, what other DAW do ya'll use to make music?

yes you can use reason on a pc afaik. Personally im a ableton live 8 user though.

Logic is way better than reason in my personal opinion though, but yeah, you need a mac :/

i don't know much about making music but i have friends that make dubstep and techno. they like using fruity loops.

I don't know about your Reason question, however, I do use Logic. it's pretty easy to start using, and it has a very clean UI that's easy to navigate through.

I am also an Abelton Live user. Highly recommend that. It's the bomb

Reason is sick man and it works on PCs and MACs. Make sure you learn the nnxt sampler because you can record any sound you want and make it into a sample then play it using a keyboard. It also has an insane drum kit.
