This is exciting, but all the posting commentators really suck and they tend to not sync their replays very well.

I think this is a good time to announce that vGl-CoW, BroOd and I are starting up a coaching site, GosuPosting. We offer posting lessons starting at $100 per hour.

Hahahhaha! Man Ive missed these... ..

This is a step in the right direction, the problem is just like in SC2 where you can just cheese your way high on the ladder, for posting you can make many low-quality posts to get your poster icon improved from SCV to Battlecruiser. Or worse, people can use hacks to automatically generate posts, or multiple people could smurf on the same account to increase posts.
We need a LAN based sub-forum, where you have to be physically on site to post. Then we'll see who the true quality posters are. No one's going to tolerate bad posts at a lan, especially when iNcontroL is right there to punch you in the face for being an idiot.

Do you give lessons to gold level posters?

I'm a mid-high Corsair level poster, but I've been posting among Dark Templar posters for a while now. Does anyone know how and when I can be promoted? I post better than them over 50% of the time. I think it might be because I only post a few posts a day, but if I posted more, I'd definitely be at least low High Templar rank.

Posting icons don't mean anything. I've met Dragoons who are EASILY as good as Carriers. Plus, when TL labels you a Dragoon it's like it's calling you dumb. Very condescending.

I would be willing to engage in these lessons from some of the Top Posters in the World™.

We need featured streams of posters, maybe somebody can set up a coaching house, or even convince gosu coaching to branch out into this quickly growing phenomenon! I've never been a core poster, but with my blogs letting me increase my writing skill, I may branch out from Single player, and try my hand at creating more threads in the cutthroat SC2 general or strategy forums...
Edit: Ahh, see my forum micro has already failed me, sonuvbob has already announced a coaching site!

very clean, subtle, not overtly funny, but very humorous. and i just love the iron fist in velvet glove feel it's got, sharp irony

I dont even care if I get banned for this but I just wanted to let the community know that GosuPosting is a big scam, my friend bought a lessons from them, they requested payment right away, than said it would be months before the lessons, and now are completely ignoring his emails. He's had to open a paypal dispute to attempt to get his money back, I would avoid these guys and their insidious posts at all costs

I'd like there to be a pSports league, say, called North American Posting League (NAPL) but without professional posters such as Sonuvabob, vGl-CoW, and BroOd. I just relate better to posters near my level. I say this not from the perspective as a poster but a fan and spectator.

I've been posting at Reaver level on the teamliquid website, but I think if you look at my overall post rate and extrapolate it from there you can see I'm easily a Carrier-level poster.

Oh no. All of this stuff is going to become a mini-TL meme, isn't it (and by that I mean Torte is going to use it)?
WHAT HAVE YOU CREATED, HOJU!? We're all doomed!

This is a step in the right direction.
May I suggest the pro posters to hire Moltke and Charlie Murphy as in-house coaches? As former top posters, they may not have the proper mechanics anymore, but they can still definitely give good insight. And it is always better to have a coach to determine who is going to practice posting in which section, and dertermine the line-ups for the posting tourneys.
Also, I feel pretty frustrated by the overall posting possibilities for my race, Zerg. Zergs have less units, spells, and top players to whine talk about. I feel Terran and especially Protoss have a much easier time making large amount of varied posts and hard counter Zerg opinions. So at an equivalent skill level, T and P posters will often be ranked significantly higher than Zerg posters. Of course, improving my posting mechanics would help, but I hope TL is going to take some action to balance the forum.
PS : “just check any of the Live Report threads on TeamLiquid.net. All of the good, quality posting in those threads are a direct result of the excellent training we are receiving here.” So true! :D This one actually made me laugh out loud.
