I've been looking for some buddies as well... I spend every night from about 10 PM - 4 AM EST watching GSL (Jinro is my hero, of course) or streams or losing gold league ladder matches - by myself. I can't get any of my gaming buddies from other games to play or watch SC2. It kinda sucks. Would love to have some buddies of any skill level to joke around with and talk about starcraft or play games or practice or whatever else SC related. Add me on the NA server, Jackalneck.641

Met some cool people in the Buddiship channel and got to watch and play some good games. I think we had a good range of skill levels in there too, from bronze (me) to a diamond zerg player. I recommend you guys check it out if you haven't.

So, yeah, I guess there's really only one reason why anyone is posting in this thread, so no mystery there. I'm theillway, 766, bronze-league zerg on the NA servers. My name is pronounced "the ill way", because I like pig latin and my name is Will. I watch a lot of casts but don't get that much time to play, so I'm a super noob. Just looking to play some matches where I can get feedback afterwards.

OK! For all people on the EU server:

Lutecius and me talked about the channel idea that came up by some guys from America.

So for the EU, "TLbuddies" is the channel where to be :D If you have some friends -> tell the about the channel. Hopefully all you guys meet there to play togather, share your practice partner or just to have a chat.

All pro players are heroes, though all three (technically 4) of these:
- Day9 (duh)
- Tastosis (especially after watching Daily 100 + footage)
- Husky (for bringing me into SC2 via Youtube videos)

I am on the EU server, and only have about 3 friends that still play on starcraft that haven't gone over to WoW, and they are not on a lot of the time.
I didn't ladder before daily #269 because I was scared of failure, but now I have started, but I am still in practice league.
I like to play protoss, because it is the one that I suck at the least.
I usually play a couple of games on weekdays (anytime between 18:00 and 23:00 GMT), and quite a lot at the weekend at random times during the day

I don't have skype because I have no microphone, but looking to get one soon

Hi everyone,

I just bought SC2 yesterday. Installed the game and figured I would start by watching a few basics videos and came across Day[9]'s daily hence now I am here. I have mostly played FPS's and a couple of MMO's and this is my first try at an RTS. I am looking for some partners to help teach me the basics and practice. I am on the NA server eventhough I am in the US Army stationed in Korea.
