No the majority are not, however, if you can find someone that knows what they are doing, home births are actually fine. Most hospitals try to rush the procedure, etc. Hospitals are a good place to have a kid if something goes extremely wrong though.

This is an awesome story. I recently moved down to Philly so I was in this storm, too. Unfortunately my story isn't as cool as yours -- I just got the chance to help out a Russian guy who got stuck in a drift. ![](/mirror/smilies/puh2.gif)
