Still will get aboue 4.3 cumulative, which isn't half bad.

Well your mind being blown is credible lol. Mine was too.
In order for that Japanese guy to make it to that level he had to take online course with night schooling and took almost every ap/honor courses available. The person with the highest gpa in district did like everything I think...can't remember the article too well.

You can look up online if you wish. It is in Tampa and she went to either Blake or Hillsborough High school.

edit: huh...never heard of ap A being a 5?
To Frodac: honestly no colleges look at just GPA. As long as you have a decent gpa and some good extracurricular activities (having leader position would be nice) then you can remain surprisingly competitive in the pool. Shit I was treasurer of NHS uncontested and my bio teacher (who liked me) made up the sergeant at arms for the science honors club lol. Having connections with colleges can make you really competitive. I know two vegetables who got in cause of alumni and SOLELY of alumni status :/

Lol. I'm going to try to be on NHS board if I get in lol.

If not I'll be pres/vice pres for the two largest academic clubs on campus.

You probably should try better schools lol.

idk if I should say this however I do know some people who did get into colleges by lying about the club positions they "held." I am assuming that colleges do not check these...but again I wouldn't advise this lmao

I will hold these positions because everyone in my class is busy studying, so there are like 3 juniors in all clubs. And I've been in for 3 years. and am successful. And organized

Yeah I have no extracurriculars because I just don't know what to do... ;__;

It's not like I waste my life pursuing as high as possible GPA, as very few hours overall are spent studying/doing homework (most is spent mindlessly browsing Internet--literally can't even list what I've done after getting off the comp...maybe it's a full-blown addiction T.T)...just no idea what to do...also sort of too late because half-way through soph year, so unless I can do some amazing stuff I'll probably just be stuck with solid/"easy" UC but little to no chance of any place important.....

Your extracurriculars pwn and your GPA is still solid, plus you could write about your experience being in the hospital for so long with an amazing essay or something, as it does sort of apply and it can also be a moving piece of work T-T

well I didnt get into any of my positions till junior year lol...actually it might have been first semester of senior year. Its never too late to join clubs. Just join w.e. Academic clubs are a plus (but you usually get an invitation or must meet the GPA requirement). And just join random clubs and hope they don't have enough members that show up for the election liike I lmao
