So a little back story to begin. Today I was out of class early because of my finals schedule (HS Senior) and I figured I should make use of this extra time that I've been gifted in a constructive way. Naturally, I drove straight home and sat down in front of my computer. Looking at the clock I realized I had about an hour before I needed to leave the house again.
Thought process:
2-5 games of SC
+ Show Spoiler +Ending time is too variable. Don't want to tap out because I need to leave. Sure I really should try to get more ladder games in, but honestly I wouldn't be playing my best right now. (If you didn't catch it these are my terrible excuses and the reason I'm bad at SC)
2 episodes of anime
+ Show Spoiler +I like to sit and veg for a couple hours if I'm going to get into that. There hasn't been anything I'm really lately either, so I'll save that for when I should be sleeping tonight.
1 Day9 Daily

With that decided I proceeded to skip through last night's daily to catch up on the games that I didn't see. Upon finishing, and having skipped about fifteen minutes of show, I remembered the great music that Day9 plays during the pre and post show. Now, I'm a pretty big fan of Day9 all together. I've watched his 100th daily ten times, was there when the jokes like "The Number J" and "Trumpets" were created. I know his unit impressions and his SKRAWW. I just really love the guy and what he gives to the community (big props, if you ever read this!). So I head over to Day9fan.com and load up their Grooveshark playlist of his songs. I chill for about ten minutes, get shoes, phone, wallet and I'm out the door.
Five hours later. Errants are done, spent some time with my girlfriend at the mall. We decide to come back to my place to eat a bit and then hang out. Make some coffee for her, some popcorn. We settle down for a while and just talk. I poke fun at her (I can't help myself, I'm a terrible jokester) and we laugh. We finish up and then head downstairs to watch a movie. As we approach my room I hear the music still going. A nice electronic song comes to a close as we walk through the door and what do I hear? Just as she sits down on the bed? Isla Del Sol by Ottmar Liebert. I can't resist. I really just can't. The absolute nerd and Day9 fan in me took over and I went for it.
"It's Friday night, girl, work week's done, come on over" I'm working my sexy voice. She's looking into my eyes like she's living a dream.
"Mmmm I cooked a little meal, we had it, it was delicious. Goat cheese on baguettes, with sundried tomatoes oooh" I find myself doing the Day9 mannerisms. His cocky smile and suave demeanor. She's digging the fantasy.
"Come back to the bedroom, candles are lit, the mood is right. Rose petals to the bed, oh my god, I am with the girl of my dreams. I'm running my hands up and down her smooth, perfect body" at this point I am doing just that. We're both in the mood and the music only amplifies our passion.
"Her silky skin, pushed against mine, oh my goodness, I'm making love to the woman of my dreams, and then you know what happens all of a sudden?" You all know it. And yes, I did do it.
"TRUMPETS!" My face was probably contorted in the goofiest smile from trying not to burst out laughing. "That's right, trumpets!" I do the wonky arm dance, get up and parade around the room, bobbing up and down to imitate his chair shenanigans.
I'm lucky to have such a great girlfriend. She thought it was funny too, and we spent a good five minutes laughing. Though needless to say, I didn't get any.

Totally not worth yelling trumpets, in my humble opinion. I think she would have appreciated it more if you didn't do that. Cool story nevertheless, though it would have been even better of a success if you hadn't done the trumpets thing... *facepalm* seriously, the trumpets aren't even that bad.
Just in case I'm perceived as an idiot, I didn't say that for the sake of your getting laid--I just wish you had followed through and had some cuddling or whatever you guys wanted to do though ;__;

My face just started twitching from anticipation haha. This story is hilarious. Excellent job man. I guess you just need to work on your build order a bit.

Yay~~! Baller points for you! I might be easily satisfied/happily surprised by lots of random events, but one really can't deny that this was soooo cool. It sounds so cute and happy and...indescribably awesome!

Day9's build order joke was told at an MLG Event (Dallas I think). It might have been in a daily but thats where I remember it because he was trying to kill time when I think their connection wasn't working. I loved the joke so much its been in my sig ever since
