Think your main mistake was not to take a 3. Expo around the time of your push. Everything else looked way better than his performance. Good luck for future tournaments!

I've played small online tournaments before and was always scared shitless if I got matched up against some 2500+ player, (I'm about 1800) and wondered if I should cheese or not. I guess you've motivated me to play fairly standard while playing higher level players.
