Hey Everyone,
So I've been lurking these forums since SC2 came out and I've yet to contribute, and I've decided that it's time I do something about that. Every Friday at 10 PM (central time!) I have a radio show called Trance at Ten that streams live at KHDX.com. It runs about an hour and half long; the first hour is trance, after which I'll play about 30 minutes of some other similar genre (ie: last week was an hour of trance and 40 minutes of dubstep. This week will be an hour of trance and 30 minutes of electronic).
Don't expect anything too special, it's just a small college radio station and it's only my third week of ever having, done anything like this, but I really enjoy it and figure some of you out there might like listening. If you have any suggestions for me after the show (Or comments/requests/shoutouts!) feel free to leave comments here or send me an email at khdx.trance@gmail.com.

Very cool. I think I'll be studying tonight so I'll try to tune in. Sad I missed the dubstep week, what qualifies as "electronic"?
Looking forward to it!
Edit: I just noticed that "Sierra Leone" track in your playlist from last week, good lord is that a banger!

This world needs more dubstep

Is there a way to stream it later? Or are you just playing it live and not recording it? That's a pretty sweet timeslot for a first timer. College radio rules.

i'd tune in if it worked out to a better time for me. do you have your own setup, or is it provided by college/radioshow?

Last week looked solid, i'll try to tune in this week.
I'm going to see deadmau5 in 4 days :D :D :D

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll have to check them out later this afternoon, I'm between classes right now. I consider "electronic" to be anything like trentemoller, the flashbulb, moby, etc. (Some of their music will be played tonight).

Right now there isn't a way =/ Our officers have told us that they are recording everything though, and they plan on making them available as podcasts. Hopefully those will be available soon, but I'm a little skeptical haha.

The setup is provided by the college. It's nice but some of my friends told me that last weeks quality was a little subpar, so it's a little irritating not having complete control over everything. Hopefully that will be fixed though. The fact that it's provided by the college is also the reason podcasts are not yet available =/

Check out my blog if you're into that kind of stuff.
You should look into recording your own shows if the station is being slack on it. It is good to listen to yourself and find ways to improve as well as fun to go back to years later. You'll also be able to share with way more people. I have a few of my old college shows on cassettes in a box at my parents' house, fun to listen to them when I got back for visits and am driving around. Wish I had more of them though.

I'll definitely have to check out your blog sometime. I'm really into pretty much anything electronic/techno/house/trance. I need to look into recording everything; I'm not quite sure how to go about doing it, but I would assume it's not too hard. Any suggestions?
