God, "Fly Like A G6" is soooooo overplayed, and the song is also a year old. -_- But it is what the OP is looking for though.
I once made a blog kind of like this too and someone recommended to me "Everywhere I Go" by Hollywood Undead so that's my contribution. Maybe also "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love Again" by Usher too?
Yeah Like a G6 is old lol, I've had the instrumental for a while trying to figure out how I could remix it back when I messed around with FL.
that hollywood undead is pretty good but I can already imagine the "wtf is this put on some akon or something sexy already"
DJ got us fallin in love again is def the kind of pop trendy whatever you want to call it, stuff that plays nonstop that I should've heard of but haven't because I'm a fucking hermit.
I'll probably sneak in some SHM and Afrojack though, because I'm a bastard like that
edit for clarity and cause I ain't hatin nor trollin

totally forgot about him.
step 1: make decent song step 2: recycle decent song into something worse step 3: ???? step 4: top the charts
that's def something I want to play but I don't know... sounds a bit too hard at times? + Show Spoiler +

I wish but I'm a busy man -_- (the bar part) listening to the radio during the day doesn't really give you hints on what plays at night, at least not where I live

Np, I've just been around a lot of ppl who are like that nowadays :/ nothing personal lol
And yeah, this Gettin Over You is a remix.
If you're too lazy to compile a playlist, there are places to get hour+ long top40 mixes :p
I'm doing a gig next week, so here are some more top40/club anthems that I'll most likely be spinning (long list warning :p) :
oh god SHM's radio friendly One the remix with Pitbull is pretty good though.obviously to me not as good as the original :z and holy shit there's a vid for Miami 2 Ibiza already remember hearing it on Pete Tong or Annie Mac on BBC R1, balls were tripped.
do you have any tips on when to drop oldschool stuff? I have tons of 80s-90s stuff that everybody seems to love but more often than not I put them in later and they go unnoticed

Its all about reading the atmosphere I guess. You could drop a quick set in the beginning before going into the current top40, and/or if you've played a lot of top40 hits in a row you can segway into an oldschool set for a bit. Just don't do like one oldschool hit, one top40, one oldschool, etc. unless theres some sort of cohesiveness (or are an amazing mashup guy lol)
