The dude took it like a champ, and they both stubbornly held their ground; both of them look like assholes, and the chick had no right to hit the guy. I'd never advocate hitting a woman and a retaliatory strike would be assault, but I personally feel that if a woman were to start a physical confrontation, no harsher penalties should stem from it than would if you returned a blow to a man. Meaning they could still be charged with whatever violation occurred, but it shouldn't warrant a harsher charge or having the people mob on him like they did; that was just absolutely retarded. The old guy was the biggest douche of all. The guy was sitting back down as it looked like they were leaving, and he wouldn't have pursued them further. So the old guy comes over and starts beating on him, and when he defends himself, the woman attacks him, he pushes her off, and then gets mobbed. That's all just one giant clusterfuck. During the entire thing, the woman and the old guy seemed like the aggressor. More on the topic, I don't think I'd ever strike a woman without being physically harassed first, and even then I'd try to refrain from doing so unless it were a matter of defending myself or being injured otherwise. Under normal circumstances, I'd say it's wrong to hit a woman, but I'd also say it's wrong to hit a man. If things escalate that far, then gender shouldn't matter. | ||

You see, the victim told me to stab him in the chest if I had a problem with his attitude, so I did." Seriously, I don't think anyone should be starting a fight, ever. But if a guy gets assaulted by a girl, why the fuck shouldn't he fight back? Can someone give me a reason? Like a real reason? Other than, "Well, dur, she's a girl."
