It was funny and cool at first, but then I looked him up....he's sold 40 MILLION records in his career. He was a huge deal in the '80 and absolutely raked in the cash.. Its like 20 years from now the internet seizing upon a song by Beyonce and feeling proud of themselves for making her popular again. Why can't we pick out some talented dude who didn't already become rich and famous and give them a taste of the good life... Except that really wasn't the intention to begin with. It's a trolling technique that went viral. We also have a hundred imitations of making unknowns into stars, e.g. American Idol.

Not bad, props to him for holding a guitar to make him seem more like a musician.

This song, also a new single from Rick Astley, is more recent (uploaded 3 days ago O_O), it's more like a ballad. I have to say, I like the song in the OP more though.

The only reason why we see Rick Astley back is this internet meme, and that a producer thought that by resurecting him, he could make some money surfing on this unexpected renewed celebrity. Rickrolling trend was fun. This is just boring marketing.

Rickrolling trend was fun. This is just boring marketing. It's pretty generic, yes, but honestly, even though some producer thought he could be a golden mine, it's good to see the guy doing what he likes again. Besides, according to wiki, Lights Out only managed to hit #15 in the UK charts.
