"Do you play sports?"
Ok the question itself might not seem strange to you but I'll give you some backstory here:
I'm about 2 meters tall (6.74") and I'm fat, flat out fat. Not big boned or anything like that I'm just fat. I'm working on the weight issue but it's going slow.
So today I go to the store just before they close to get some onions for my minced meat sauce and as I walk around I see this guy just... walking around looking at me and I'm like "oh crap, a creepy gay guy. really? I just want to get a fucking onion." So I avoid him as best as I can but right as I'm picking up a union he starts talking to me and the conversation goes something like this:
Older man: "Hi how old are you?"
Me: "Hi, ehm I'm 24"
Older man: "Do you play sports?"
Me: "Uh? N..no not right now. I used to and I also coached"
Older man: "Ok, I just saw you and I thought your body would be well fitted for track and field"
At this moment I'm thinking "oh god, if he offers me sex I'm gonna punch him. I seriously am"
Me: "Oh really?"
Older man: "Yes, I can see that your bodytype would be really good for short put and discus. Have you ever considerd it?"
Me: "Not really, no." (just want to get out of this conversation)
Older man: "Well I just thought I'd say I think your body is optimal for something like that"
Me: "Ok well thank you. Gotta go" *semi-runs off*
Why in the world would you go up to a complete stranger and say such things? And I dont think he was affiliated with any local track and field team, he just thought he'd share it with me. Ok if my body type is good for a certain sport but you just dont go up to people at random just saying stuff like that.
So yeah I thought that was both creepy and wierd, and no I'm not going to start either shot put or discus.

Are you sure if he's not affiliated with any team? He could be recruiting you or something haha.
I mean yeah, it's a common question, but not exactly the type you would ask a complete stranger at a random store. (Not even a sports store)

Onion Or Union? Maybe hes trying you to go try out for the local team and you never know he might be coach or somethin ; )

Oh god, that's what you get for having a west wing marathon  Fixed it :D
And I'm just guessing that he wasnt a part of any team, mostly because he didnt wear anything to affiliate him with a team and didnt mention a team

There are just weird people everywhere.
Or just people with very strange hobbies who don't realize it would be very weird to talk about it.
I mean imagine your creepy guy loves as much shot put as we love Starcraft progaming. Imagine now you see a guy with very very fast fingers, and you start a conversation with something like "wow your fingers are very fast, you could be a good Starcraft player". See ?
Last year, I was back from the supermarket, carrying my food for the week, in a very narrow street, and a car stopped next to me.
The driver winds the window down, and asks me how often to the barber. I had exactly the same reaction as you "fuck, another creepy gay guy".
So I just reply "around once in a month".
Then the guy start saying how beautiful is my hair and how fine it is. (I really hate my hair btw, I'm gonna be bald like my dad :[ ) Then he said something like "you hair is so fine, you should not spend money to have them cut, you could do it yourself".
I am amused and embarassed and WTF at the same time, but I don't wanna show it because the guy is really creepy (he looked like the eastern europe war veteran in the movie Rocknrolla, but incredibly gay at the same time lol). So I just reply "thanks for the advice". And the guy winds up the window and leaves.
Now I just try to think he was a barber and just wanted to give kind advice. But it was creepy as fuck anyway !

So yeah, weird people are everywhere, just take it as a compliment as long as it wasn't insulting.
