Is there already a UCSB SC2 team? I know there was a team that played in the UC league, but is it still up and ready for SC2?
If there isn't one I'd be interested in starting one up. I'm gong to be a first year at UCSB this coming fall. If you're interested (and if UCSB doesn't already have a team), you could PM me your info.

I don't think UCSB had a team last season, but I could be mistaken. Good luck getting a team together

yeah I don't think they did either but they definitely had one the season before last. The only player I remember from them is trypt who is very good, but I have no idea if he's playing sc2 or not.
So at this point it looks like you're going to have to take it upon yourself fragkrag

I would play if it was still BW but I still haven't even purchased SC2. 
But I think you are the only person currently going to UCSB that I've seen post other than myself but I would think we would have a lot more starcraft players since most UCs seem to.

Moto.506 goes to ucsb. He's not bad.
Trypt graduated last year, but yes he's playing sc2. He's Bubba (in root).

wooo, other ucsb-ians. it sucks that i'm nowhere near good enough to help with this at this point, but i'd be down to play and get my ass handed to me if something gets started

I figure we just need enough for a team. Skill level won't matter since it's mostly for fun anyways :>

Okay so I am going into my 4th and last year at UCSB, what happened to the team was that they are all one year older than one, and thus all graduated. Most of them were around B level players in SC1, and played Zerg. Now that they are gone, there's really not many good players left. I do think we there's a B terran in the second year though...so maybe track him down?

Are alumni allowed to play for the team? I don't remember how that rule eventually played out last year.

well i guess im down to suck with real ppl instead of suck by myself online, how do i going about getting into this. 2 of my roommates (we're all second years) also play at like gold to plat level ish

If you have facebook, join the facebook group and send me your information (username, identifier, way to contact). You can leave the info on the group wall if you'd like
I figure if we get enough people interested some of the higher level players can help out the lower level players
