Today I had my state exam to receive my license as a certified nursing assistant. I passed.
After 3 and a half months of what I originally thought was only going to be a means to find a job, I have made significant and great progress in my social life. No long am I afraid just to smile at a stranger on the street. I don't struggle to return a simple hello. The experience has taught me something more valuable than anything I learned in theory. That people and the relationships I have with them are what make my life worth living. I didn't realize that before, or at least I ran away from it.
I still have a long way to go, but I think I'll be getting my BSN and going on to become an RN and eventually a CRNA or Nurse Practitioner. Although my interest in StarCraft is everything but dead, my love for the community of TeamLiquid is anything BUT dead. I just wanted to let you guys know :3
