This entire post is a big bunch of what is known as denial and over-compensating. You're trying so hard to convince yourself that you're happy that you end up taking it way too far, to lengths no *truly* happy person would ever do. For example; 1 - You make a post about something this arbitrary. When we try to convince ourselves about something we don't have much confidence in, we often tell others about it because it's easier to believe things with support from other people. 2 - You use the word "happy," shift and smileys in a excessive manner only over-compensating people do. Once again, trying so hard to convince yourself makes you go too far, and it's very visible when you know about it. 3 - Your last line, "nothing can ruin my happiness," is a huge qualifier that wouldn't have been necessary if you were truly happy. When we say something we don't have much confidence in we often qualify it, trying to make it stronger by adding on statements because we know that what we just said can't stand on it's own very well. You can deny it all you want, but you're missing her. You're sad it ended. And you're trying your best to protect yourself from the horrible truth. But in the end, you'd do much better to just suck it up and move on instead of trying to deny it this much. You will move on in the end, how much time you'll be spending in denial before you do is up to you. | ||
