To the Blizzard employee who invented the Medivac:
They laughed in your face. They ridiculed your ideas, far-fetched even by SC2 standards. They only keep you around to remind themselves, "I might have screwed up BNet2.0, but at least I didn't come up with the Medivac." Now, it's time for... redemption

why... did you... make a repeat thread... when you made the original thread... ???
so confused...
if you did this on purpose, then do you just want extra attention? if you did this on accident, do you just have a really bad memory?
wtf

Eh... if it was closed for being in the wrong forum why wouldn't the admin just move it to the right one?
It's a pretty cool story though and I thought it deserved a thread

Ah, but it is unrealistic.... you had to shine it through the suit. Somehow, does this imply some suit sensors are outside to activate the healing inside? Why can't marines inject the healing themselves like the stimpacks? The lasers might then also fuck up the suit. The only opening to the skin for light is the helmet. With that, you might shone it into someone's eye who is busy firing at zerglings. Plus, this seals skins or openings....... u may also accidentally sealed someone's eye who can't open his eyelids later. Still unrealistic.
I'm sure there's more reasons. Article's cool though.

I'm sure there's more reasons. Article's cool though. If you are accepting that the technology to "beam healing" is realistic, I don't think the ability for said healing waves to penetrate matter is that much further of a stretch.

The topic came up today during a discussion. I remembered that the original thread didn't last two hours and my friend suggested I repost it so a few more people can read it. I guess this was a mistake. We got a good laugh out of it, anyways.

disagree
sc marines don't hallucinate, and there are more effective stimulants than pcp

PCP and stim packs are similiar enough. Can't compare it to anything else unless you want to be lame and say steroids.
