This is something I've encountered now today more exclusively lately then ever before, people blaming game balance, sure I have done it to numerous of times, we all have done it probably at different points of time, but this fella made my day complete really

After this we had a long discussion how bad I suck cause he went coloss and zealots, and I rushed mutas while he didn't scout me the whole game except for the first scout. So he had no idea that it was coming.

Now why do people feel like they understand a game better then everyone else and everything. So when their own shortcomings make them lose, they blame the game ?

Speaking of that and this what supposed to be an blog about my journey on the way to the top. As the Beta is ending and so on I have started to get higher in my league and starting to look good !

It seems possible, lots of really high level players are stuck in platinum still, for instance I just played Slush twice (and yes it was the real slush).

I've looked at the real WhiteRa's profile (has his showmatch games with machine on them), he has no Ladder games at all played. Only Customs.

Identifiers were a pretty good idea, if they were easy for everyone to see. Then newbie schmo#1 and newbie schmo#2 can both have their favourite ID "THEDESTORYOR1136" whilst well known players will have their IDs copied but at least people will know which identifier is really them.

Identifiers will come back. Bnet is currently just like this so it forces people to use the real-id and facebook friend stuff.

I don't have SC2 on this comp, so can't watch rep, but FYI Zerg has to be really careful expo'ing toward the center on Kulas, because Terran and Protoss both have a multitude of ways to harass that safely from the high ground if Zerg doesn't play it right.
Protoss can
- colossus, or
- stalker/immortal take down the rocks absurdly fast, and can harass with a large army.
- phase prism (not really worth it though IMO compared to the other options.
Terran can
- banshee, or
- marauders destroy the rocks a bit faster, but mostly, just about every terran unit loves to be on top of that cliff. Marine/Marauder, Siege Tanks
- Thorship.
As Zerg, you need to be aware of these possibilities, and either expo somewhere else or break the rocks on your side as soon as you can with spare lings or whatever.
Anyway, people crying imba is really annoying, I agree. And honestly, it's not gonna stop for a LONG time. People generally stfu with their imba complaints about BW, but since SC2 is new, noobs are always gonna say that everything they lose to is imba, and defend their claim by stating that BW took years to balance. You just gotta ignore them.

Ye I can figure out that much, but since he didn't watch the replay and I didn't post screenshots of every game and he is predicting plays and such without knowing what happened more then that I won, I just get confused by that part :S

So he barely scouted, had a horrible army composition as a result, and blames balance rather than his own mistakes. This is a very common reaction of bad players, which is what I was talking about toward the end of my previous post, and what I based by "noob" judgment on.
Admittedly, good players also may blame balance at times (Idra, Artosis, etc.) but at least they scout.
The whole "Zerg expos on Kulas" was an aside. See, even though I didn't watch the replay, I gathered from the screenshot that a Zerg player (you) expo'ed toward the center on Kulas Ravine. The comments weren't geared toward this game specifically, but just general advice.
Hopefully this clears things up.

I had a guy(Z) immediately cry imba on my "bullshit terran turtling" after I walled in my expo on Lost Temple. After arguing with me a bit that there was no possible way to break my defenses, he quit.
There was much lulz to be had that night.
