Im not even going to mention bw... oh wait i just did. Another thing would be playing a different game for a bit, something of completely different genre that is not as mentally taxing, indie games are ideal. Im playing to buy altitude for this reason Another good example would be bloodline champions but that game is still in development and you need a beta key, aaaand beta is up only 3,5 days a week.

Everything that you listed can be improved on and I'm sure every competent player has been where you are now. You can't get to a high rank without passing through some of the middle ranks. Will it be easy? No way, Starcraft is an incredibly hard game. Will there be obstacles? Of course. But will if overcome them? That's up to you.

That being said, don't mass game when you are angry (or you might get a match history that looks like the one below), take a breather, regain focus, and then go for it. Don't be afraid to get 2nd opinions if you aren't sure what the errors are in your play. If you know why you lost its not a loss, its a lesson learned.

Once you get used to the feeling of frustration and losing it bothers you less and less, until you get to a point where the only thing that runs through your head when you lose is how to improve in the next game. Then before you know it you are kicking ass again. That being said, don't mass game when you are angry, take a breather, regain focus, and then go for it. I worked a bit (freelance programming ftw) and cooled off.. untill the next losing streak :D And about massing games I've just read somewhere that it's the best way to improve if you know what your problem is, which is my case, but seems it just backfired this time. Yeah I'm beginning to think that my bad streak on iccup is a record or something >< lol. Looking back at it is enjoyable because I have improved SO MUCH since then. That streak was like the turning point where I went from getting angry and frustrated to really making drastic improvements in my play (I was literally ready to blow a gasket and then I was finally like "Calm down, its just starcraft"). Someone mentioned the day[9] podcast on losing, definitely watch it.
