No melodramatic, long entry from me this time! Just a scenario, with a follow-up question.
Imagine you are at work, doing several tasks at once which all have a short completion time. While you are laboring to finish these tasks, a co-worker approaches and asks you the following.
"What do you like?"
What is your response?

I keep a list of things I like, and it's not really that long. I could probably carry it with me at all times, and be fully prepared for this question.

The "correct" answer in the poll is the mopping option. I'd never heard the phrase before, but apparently it's fairly common in the area I'm currently living. It makes very little sense to me and is actually kind of irritating to hear with the standard southern accent attached.
I was just wondering if there'd be anybody who went "well, duh, they're asking what you have left to do".

So, naturally, I would be curious.

I live in Texas and sometimes people say "What/how much do you lack?" and with the accent, it can kind of sound like "like" instead of "lack"
Other than that, I don't know what to say

Southern Kentucky, here.
I had decided initially that "lack" is what I must have been hearing, seeing as it makes some form of sense. But having heard it from the mouths of several different people and having repeated it in question form myself to affirmative reactions, I can safely say that it is indeed "like" that I am hearing.
