Since I've gotten a beta key thanks to Miss_Suna and this thread here I started playing on my own name. It's my 5th day on beta and I still have some of the old issues. It's not like the game is gradually "easier", whatever that means. I just like to assume that most people have played it for at least 2-3 months, which is probably not true. Also I'd like to note that bw skill does transfer to sc2, as in you won't be struggling below 1800 if you were B level player on iccup. I was not, thus I am having a relatively hard time even at the lower levels. Main issue is early game transitions (lets say hellions into banshee, sometimes you just can't get that lair out in time defending the harass) and late game unit mix (going vs massive MMM army or protoss goon/centry/colossus). I've heard a lot about muta and i started to use it more often. Sometimes it works, sometimes doesn't. Lost a bunch of games to an early cheese, like super early reapers with bunker or fast pool with ling/baneling or super fast voidrays. Here's an example of what some people do, our beloved friend Husky (not the caster, but a guy from this thread husky beats boxcuttr) positioned his 6th scv rax perfectly under the overlord, I found it counterproductive lol. Here is the replay. All in all, I feel like I'm slowly improving, would still like to watch some macro intensive replays from this new patch. Big thanks to Sen and Artosis, their streams are amazing.

Hmm another question, when I'm playing a 1v1 sometimes people are shown as "slightly favorite" or "favored", I used to think it was based off points. But once I check their ladder stats after the game it's not even that, like one guy had 200 less points than I did and still came up as "slightly favorite".

It is a known bug in bnet 0.5

So technically since I've gotten a bunch of +17/+20 point wins over people with bad stats I'm wrongfully advancing through the ladder rankings omg. Do they know about it? And what's bnet 0.5, it's the one we playing now?
