I tried to play romantic jazz and oldies and shit like that before and my gf said wtf is this crap. I tried hip hop and she said she felt dirty coz it was like we were doing dirt in the club. I tried pop music and she thought it was just plain distracting. Then I tried heavy metal/rock (neither of us listen to that music) and shit's been pretty wild ever since :D. No specific recommendations. I play a lot of NIN, 7 Mary 3, Puddle of Mudd, etc, but I'm pretty sure any of that crazy white boy music is pretty good for it.
