I'm pretty sure this is going to get buried under all the new SC2 blogs in no time, but I finally hit B- after dicking around against Koreans at C for 60+ games at a sub-50% winrate. Then, I went through C+ in about three days with a record of 11-6. I guess I'll try to hit B- with ZvT exclusively next, because my ZvT sucks balls. Maybe I'll try to hit B next season as well, but the seasons seem to get progressively harder and more Korean (I'm positive at least 75% of my games have been Koreans, and it's been close to around 50% in previous seasons.)

Isn't Caltech independent and therefore free from obligation to favor Californians? And how is Caltech a terrible place? Okay, the gender ratio must suck, people must be hyper competitive, and the work load I can imagine would be awful. What else?

well, 35% is from california. and so its still some favor towards californians. that coupled with me being very, very lazy, i dont think i could.

I did the opposite, i finally hit b- about a week ago, like a few days before the beta, and since the beta I seriously can barely bring myself to play sc1 anymore... I just want sc2 so bad
