This thread actually reminds me of two funny things that happened on ICCUP. When i first started playing (totally newbie), i had a completely won game and my opponent was like "gg go re". And i was like "gg" and left and got a loss lmao. The 2nd time my opponent accused me of hacking and I tried to convince him I wasn't hacking and he ended up coming back and winning the game lmao ( it was relatively close still when he accused me of hacking. i had just won a minor battle). Needless to say, I never made those mistakes again but god those were some boneheaded moments on my part. At first ofc, I felt animosity towards my opponent but not enough to BM and it was a good learning experience for me and so funny (the first one happened when my friends were watching so we all got a good laugh).

I find that by far, Peru and Korea produce the most BM players. I'm not sure why, but it seems to be true in most cases. In my experience, the only people who have ever BM'ed me are my fellow Americans. It's probably just random and you just have to learn to deal with it.
