So I played like 15 games this morning... and the only game I won where my opponent wasn't a total noob was this one. Unfortunately he bm'd me with very very vicious words.

It seems like I lose 9/10 games I play and the games I win, the opponent either d/c's or massively BMs me... like this one time my opponent relentlessly spammed "your mather fucker" for a full 10 minutes after the game.
I mean.... what is with these people? I've never left a game without gg... even if it was the lamest cheese ever... What's the point of bm'ing AFTER THE GAME IS OVER?!?!?! I mean I understand bming during and before the game to psyche your opponent out... but what's the point of just saying hurtful words for the sole purpose of making your opponent feel bad, especially when the result of the game is already set in stone? This IS just a game after all, amirite?
Well, I gotta eat lunch and go to class for now... but I think it's going to be a while before I ladder again. People can be so mean.

Who cares about ladder BM? If anyone took it seriously, it wouldn't be the internet.
As a side note, there is an ICCup forum dedicated to reporting BM. You can go ahead and make threads about them.

It is just a game, yea. Some people seem to think that, by defeating them, you somehow insulted their honor.
Just laugh it off and remember that you beat his BMing ass ;D

You can always say: All other things aside, at least I'm better than you at starcraft!
BM generally doesn't bother me but when it does just BM them back in a wittier way :D I also don't care at all about DCs since its equivalent to giving up anyway and they are probably just frustrated.

Well there's two approaches. Against retarded people, just act more retarded than them. It's funny if you have an audience plus trying to outwit them generally fails since they don't understand what you are saying or claim ignorance. But they generally do realize when you are just fucking with them. The conversation's hilarity escalates.
Against, not retarded people, generally attacking their character works or just about anything. Remember to respond quicky though because alot of people like to bm fast and then leave and remember to veil your insults such that when they are thinking about it later, they realize how badly u pwned them. If you want to be nice, you can probably say something like: "one sec i need to concentrate on eliminating your buildings".
Refrain from racial slurs as I would guess, it usually becomes a one word exchange and that's boring. Remember, to always use your ace card. The fact that they lost/ did something stupid in game which makes you better than them if you aren't feeling creative.
Oh yeah, BM is bad!

Dumbass immature losers who rage and don't improve. BMing a moron back is fun like people have said. Just don't get upset over that kinda stuff, be happy for the win you earned.
