"Federer won an all-time record 124 consecutive matches against players ranked outside of the Top 5 in Grand Slam tournaments (2004 Wimbledon - 2009 US Open). This streak came to an end against Juan Martin Del Potro, ranked #6 at the time, in the 2009 US Open finals. Del Potro was ranked #5 in the world by the end of the tournament."
When he loses, what he barely does, it's only against S-Class players. He's never sloppy, that's so insane. I play tennis myself and even tho I watched the starcraft proscene since the boxer era there was never a progamer who amazed me as much as Federer. Maybe Flash comes close in the term of perfection in some of his games, but when Federer plays, it's like every fucking time and that since a ridiculous long time

It's so impressive that he's able to dominate on such a technical level.

Surely it would be better to compare flash to Roger? but the length of dominace resembles savior more oov dominated longer so was it oov dominated for longer and savior dominated harder? i always thought it was the other way around
oov dominated both longer and harder

??? federer has been dominating for almost as long as SC has been around... well not rly but he won his first slam in 03?
and the year after his first slam he won 3 slams?

I think the imperfect information factor makes it harder to achieve bonjwa status in Starcraft. In Tennis, Federer can see everything that is going on and have almost perfect control of the game. Starcraft is more complicated in that there are build risks you can take.

How is Federer a robot? Unfair. He is so artsy fartsy.

about the OP, the nice thing about playing too much iccup is that when your grades start to go down, it doesn't seem so bad. c's are ok, b is quite good, a is out of reach so don't bother

not all the Federer hyped matches turn out to be one sided ownages...
Federer vs Nadal Wimbeldon 08 might have been the best tennis match ever played... and Federer vs Roddick Wimbeldon 09 was also amazing to watch.
Murray just got steamrolled yesterday though

I wonder if Federer would be pro at scv Tennis.

if federer is not flashy, who is a flashy tennis player?
|
Federer is the Flash of tennis. SUPER good but kinda boring at times.

Federer's playstyle is absolutely a work of art. Some of the shots he creates, simply magical.

I always compare Federer's performance under pressure to JDs. I mean put them in BO5s and they just eat you alive. They make comebacks when people thought not possible and they just never seem to break under pressure.

He can't be Bonjwa when Nadal beats him regularly.
