Well, as some of you guys know, a couple of songs from my band are being played on the TSL broadcasts thanks to HotBid and the inital contact made by never_toss  I was really happy/excited to see this topic made: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=111204 and got some good responses in it.
So yea, decided to blog it just to have a quick update on the status of our debut album! Im currently working on some of the art for the album, and I have to get it all done by tomorrow night since next week we will be sending the art for printing and making the final negotiations for the whole CD process.
The 2 songs you hear at the TSL broadcasts are named Survive and Kindergarden stuff, and hopefully will get uploaded on our myspace next week *http://www.myspace.com/voidcr*
So anyways I'll post here a couple of images of the CD art of my band Im making, and will update later on the status of the whole thing. We'll be selling the album throught CD baby perhaps when we get it done, so you can kind buy it over there.

I posted in the other thread, but I just wanted to say again how good this music is. It generally isn't the sound I listen to, but it's still really well written and put together. Gotta give props where they need to be given

Nice, you guys are certainly good enough to be given a serious critique. That's quite a compliment. It's much easier to say "Oh, you're really good." I suppose that's from a perspective that within our rather small community we have a band that sounds legitimately mainstream. Perhaps that's why I would critique as such.
That being said, it's a very mainstream sounding so I hope you guys do well. It's much easier to critique then it is to create. So good work. Love the album cover work.

Amarxist, thx for the critique. I hope you get to hear the whole record someday soon so you can really judge it thoroughly. I consider the band progressive/alternative metal, so its a bit off of the mainstream kind of music, but I do get your point.

Listening to you guys before the matches I thought of: Lacuna Coil. Read through your influences on myspace page, there's only bands I like. But I don't like Lacuna Coil. Well, good luck anyway. And the cover art is amazing.

Ok, new update. I just finished 100% of the art for the album! Its consisting of 16 colored pages, the back part of the CD*the section where u remove the CD and see an image under it*, and the titles for the back of the case, aaand the CD itself. So basically its
16 booklet pages
2 pages for back of the CD
1 CD
----
Thats 19 illustrations made -_- That was fkn tiring! hah :D But Im glad its finally ready for the printing test *will do it tomorrow*

Well some people call nearly everything mainstream. Especially metalheads from TL.
One thing about your band is that the vocals are really easy to listen to, even for someone who generally doesnt like heavy music that much, and the music has quite a bit of very melodic parts, but that's not a bad thing and it doesnt make it mainstream either.
Fuck that riff at the end of pain part 2 sounds so badass, give us this album now plz
