If you have rage, the first thing to try is pushups or running. It's a way to salvage productivity if you don't have self-control. If you can't do this, you need to designate a durable lawn chair or something and when you get mad, throw it across your yard as hard as you can. DO NOT break any of your possessions or anything that belongs to people you live with. That's just juvenile. | ||

You guys are right however in the way that taking your anger out on something does not help (interestingly, it does, and very effectively, among primates). Taking your anger out on the person you're angry at (ie. revenge) does work by the way. If it really makes you this angry the best advice is to find something more enjoyable and stop playing. Maybe it's just me but I've stopped playing multiplayer games entirely and found way more enjoyable things to do with my time. You're not going to become a top player anyway, so why not relax and focus on being competitive in something like academics. | ||

If my friend gets mad because i won by playing gay i usually just leave them alone for abit and they usually get over it too. When you confront them it doesnt work that well. I think most people get angry but after a few minutes later most people are back to normal unless they're on like full tilt. I personally find it a lot easier holding my anger in bw than in other stuff. | ||
