i'm one of the bisu fanboys but bisu failed so hard.
after a "sportaining" game against hero, he lost to players like hacksoo, guemchi, and bogus! i wonder what his rank would be in the next PR or would he still be there?
lousy shuttle micro against guemchi... lol but sad (i know you can write more lousy plays of bisu but pls. don't bother to write those in this thread)
now he's out in both starleagues.
i was cheering for bisu for msl and flash for osl, now i'm hoping for flash to win back-to-back msl and osl title.

Remove the frowning face. But Bogus and Guemchi deserved to advance. I'm pretty impressed with Guemchi, not as much with Bogus but he played well none the less.
Bisu and sAviOr sorta beat themselves though.

I am SOOOO happy that Bisu is out, hell yes. Too bad Stork is out of MSL though 
And yeah, I agree - both Bogus and Guemchi really played well these games, so even if i didn't dislike Bisu i'd say that they deserved it.

I've been a huge Bisu fanboy since day 1. I feel your pain man. The problem with Bisu is we all know he can do it and is (one of) the best if he brings his A+ game.
Recently, the starleagues have been so disappointing for him. Those games against Shine, he just barely loses game 1 and doesn't get a dark archon in a game 3 so all his templar get sniped. Yesterday, the game against guemchi was just sloppy. Honestly if he just unloads the reavers in a containment position instead of letting the shuttle die carelessly he wins. The Bogus game we all knew he was going to cheese. Bisu didn't count on the 2 fac being proxied so he lost, but why not go a safe build considering its fucking Bogus. I mean I'm pretty sure he would be ok with a fast reaver or fast dt or 2 gate obs or a really fast ob to see what Bogus is doing. Instead he goes with a 1 gate nexus.
Then we have the previous starleagues of recent memory. That heartbreaking game 5 loss to Iris where he did everything but finish the game multiple times. The game against Zero in OSL where he falls to the queens. Batoo and Lost Saga were also shocking defeats.
This is why you have to respect Jaedong a lot for sealing the deal in individual leagues (or at least OSL). Look at how many times Bisu, Flash, and Stork the 3 next best players over the past 2 years lets say.
After the starleague seasons in summer 2007, where Bisu captured his second MSL title and Stork took OSL bronze and MSL silver.
Jaedong - 3 OSL 1 MSL gold 1 Gom gold 1 MSL silver
Bisu- 1 MSL 1 GOM gold 1 MSL silver
Flash- 1 OSL 1 GOM gold 1 Gom invite title for whatever thats worth
Stork- 1 OSL gold 2 OSL silver second in Gom Invite
WCG is about a wash between the players with Stork and Jaedong showing good results and only recently Bisu as well. Flash has historically not done well by his standards.
So really besides Jaedong there has been no one very consistent in the leagues in past 2+ years. We have "fluke champions" like Mind, ForGG, Luxury. Jangbi with his 3 silvers was the next most consistent besides the big 4, but he couldnt get the title.
Don't get me wrong I hate Jaedong, but I respect him a lot more recently. Just the random bullshit that knocks Bisu, Stork, and Flash out of the leagues, that more often than not but not always Jaedong manages to avoid. Only when you add Bisus 2 MSL wins from over 2 years ago does he hold a candle to Jaedong in the individ leagues.
Another point I wanted to make was that Bisu's proleague dominance last season was tremendous. He carried his team to that title. He did everything that Jaedong and Flash did. All of T1 had their slumps and Bisu carried that team throughout that long seasons, everyone just forgets this because they all came together in the finals and OZ and KT were so much worse.
This turned out to be really long and im posting this in a blog of all things.
In closing, Bisu is a great player who works hard, practices long hours, and has a great mind for the game. I know this will motivate him. Hopefully he destroys proleague and then can make some deep runs in the MSL and OSL next season. One thing I noticed about Bisu is, he always does his best when people are questioning his skill and resolve. No one gave him a chance in hell in Avalon. The all had him wrote off as damaged goods a 2 hit wonder who would never make a finals again. An MSL, GOM, proleague, and WCG Korea title later he proved that he was once again the best player in sc (fuck you Jaedong fanboys its my post).
Bisu will be back, and this time I'm thinking an OSL title to cement his legacy as the greatest (toss) ever would be appropriate.

I'm not necessarily a fan of Bisu, but damn we need more protosses in every tournament we can get. The amount of fucking zergs these days is ridiculous.
Can't find it within me to root for Bogus. His playstyle reminds me of Flash when he first came onto the scene, but it's so hard to root for a guy who has no charisma.
