Question: How does one deal with distraction/procrastination when you have to use the internet to write your paper or study? Case in point, right now I am on TL instead of writing my paper.

PS. I deleted all my computer games, but still there's the internet so... Damn it, it feels like you have to fight for every single minute you want to spend doing something useful. The feeling actually resembles some kind of addiction or illness, I.. just... have to procrastinate... PS2: I have been doing this for years now, and even though I know it has really bad consequences, I still keep on doing it.

By hand. Actually, I find that disconnecting from the internet helps...so I'll either go somewhere I don't have internet access, or I'll disable my wireless connection.
