I just won a 2+ hours PvZ on python using mc / arbs / feedback / esnare stase / broodlings etc ... i was down ~ 80 vs 200 at one point with like 500 mins vs 2K.
It was hilarious even it is was just two D+ scrubs playing each others. I ended up winning with 2 arbs, two lurkers, one sair, three queens, 4 dark archons, 4 archons, tons of ovies and probes and a couple of zeals and hydras.
I usually only play a couple of games each season so that maybe why it didn't happen to me before but i was wondering if this kind of really long games happens often for people who enjoy to play a lot.
Btw i had a funny convo with my opponent:
" Why aren't you quitting already"
" leave "
" omg it is illegaly to make cannons "
" i will make a complain "
" you could have played 5 games already "
" you are mocking me "
etc ...
Also it was funny because the guy seemed to be tilting pretty hard in ZvP and told me that he had no confidence in his strategy and execution at the beginning of the game.
Feel free to post replays like that :D
I won't post mine because even if it is funny, it is just a waste of time considering how bad we played.
Might post some pics tomorrow though

I had like 8K mins midgame at one point :O
+ it took me like 30 mins to kill his bases whereas i could have won in like 5 mins after he had no more money and scourges.

That's awesome. I've played a game like that. It didn't get to two hours but we kept building bases around python and killing each other, switching mains a couple times. I still don't understand how I didn't lose but I think zerg players just get exhausted at a certain point, especially against protoss.

Well if i wasn't that bad i think i could have won during mid game but i at one point i was just too lazy to macro and too scared to go out with a pure zeal army vs 200/200 z ( when i had my 8k i was pretty much low on gaz ).

FUCK I was gonna post a replay of me getting owned by this Korean guy, turtling like crazy, hiding buildings, eventually making him go AFK, mining minerals with one SCV and one cc left, building up an army, and then destroying him before he could get back. But alas, the replay is gone!
damn I even found the old link in the "post your cheese...etc" thread but it's dead!

Yeah, I'm in the same boat as koreasilver. Once protoss gets enough gas heavy stuff, you just lose. That's how it goes for me at C- and C.
Maybe the title should be "Protoss is solid late game PvZ."

I guess it kinda evens out. It's really hard for the Protoss to get enough gases to build up that ridiculous army and the game often ends earlier during the late game phase when Zerg has a stronger hold. I just figure that it's kinda like the punishment you receive for allowing the Protoss to feed off that many gases, kinda like how a traditional bio Terran cries if the Zerg gets more than four gases.

Lol I played a game like that last month, ZvP. Was fun, I had queens broodlinging his hts and parasiting everything. He made DA/HT/Archons etc. Mad and long game, everything spent. It was on BS ofc, where stuff like that happens all the time.
Can't find it though.
