I'm currently on about 1500-2000 calories a day on a cut diet as summer is a month away. But towards the end of summer I am upping my calories to 3500-4000 in real food with some protein supplements to bulk. Never have I looked so forward to eating so much food. ^_^

Unfortunately I got really busy when the uni semester started and haven't been working out for a couple of months. Lost a couple pounds, and don't look as big now. Need to get back on it! Good luck btw, it's hard work

When setting a goal for weight loss or weight gain, it is crucial that you give your self an arbitrary deadline this will increase your motivation 10 fold. Upcoming real life events are also very helpful in motivating you. Do you have a trip coming up? Visiting friends you haven't seen in a long time? I found that setting two major deadlines for myself, one was my trip to Thailand the other my European trip really put my butt into gear, I was visiting the gym every single day the week before my flight to Europe. and WHY are you talking like THIS??!!! YOU DON'T NEED TO! btw i wish i was taller

other than that..... i suppose a clear goal would be like "can do a single chin-up" maybe after a few months ill have a better picture of what i might be capable of. i could make a set time limit like "reach 210lbs in X months" but it would have no reaslistic basis. my best goal i suppose would be "3500kcal/day" and "gym every 2-3 days increasing weights asap" :/

and ya i dont really like the idea of getting most of your calorie intake from a single liquid source. It just feels wrong. Eat a balanced diet. Besides dooesn't high calcium intake like that result in kidney stones??

This actually kinds of reminds me of the penis enlargement thread with the already 17cm+ long (and quite large as well iirc) guy getting enlarged because he believed his gfs wouldn't cheat on him anymore after that LOL. Don't mistaken me though, working out is very good, it just that I can't relate at all to both the frustrations and the hopes in this thread, despite belonging to the target audience.

i'm kinda the reflection of the op - tall but thick. 6'2'', walk around about 220 (around 100kg), not fat, but definitely not athletic. I think being naturally tall lets me get away with all my shit habits - not playing sports any more, my love of all things food, smoking, drinking (alot). good luck op, i'd be slightly dubious about milk being a wonder drink, but keep your diet in check, keep hitting the gym, add much patience/willpower to keep the routine going and should be okay.
