i managed , after a LOT of time and failure, to make a very simple 2 page document of things i can learn as a nub acu guitarist with no home internet

it consists of a supernub Rising Sun with individual tabbed notes aswell as chords, an image of 15 different nub chords, and then this list of sequences:

E7 A7 E7 E7 E7 A7 A7 E7 E7 E7 B7 A7 E7 B7
Am C D F F Am C E E E Am C D F F Am E Am Am Am
E E A B7 B7 B7 B7 E B7-E-E
E E A A A B7 B7 C B7 B7
Am Am E E E G G D D D F F C C C Dm Dm E E E
F F C C C Dm Dm Am Am Am F F C C C Dm Dm E E E
E E E E E A C7 B7 E E E
G D Am G D C G D Am G D C

lastly i have this song:
+ Show Spoiler +

C D Am C D Am
I hurt myself today to see if I still feel

C D Am C D Am
I focus on the pain the only thing that's real

C D Am C D Am
The needle tears a hole the old familiar sting

C D Am C D G
Try to kill it all away but I remember everything

Am F C G
What have I become? My sweetest friend

Am F C G
Everyone I know goes away in the end

Am F C G
And you could have it all My empire of dirt

Am F C G
I will let you down I will make you hurt

C D Am C D Am
I wear this crown of thorns upon my liars chair

C D Am C D Am
Full of broken thoughts I cannot repair

C D Am C D Am
Beneath the stains of time the feeling disappears

C D Am C D G
You are someone else I am still right here

For this last part just strum a G

If I could start again A million miles away

I would keep myself I would find a way

PHEW its taken me hours to find such basic crap that i can take home with me. this website looks decent but everything is in varying formats, also i need to sleep now

anyone care to suggest really dumb simple songs etc? i dont know ANY fuckin song names so referring me to a tabs website is just sad

idealy i want to learn classical guitar (eventually) but i just bought a wire string one for $30 instead of $60

Don't start out too simple, make an honest effort to learn some hard songs at the beginning, even if you have to take it extremely slow.

Get guitar pro from a torrent or something, and just download the guitar pro tabs off ultimate-guitar.com and practice a lot and you'll start learning in no time. I'm self taught and just recently started learning cliffs of dover, its fucking insane but you have to keep pressuring your self to learn harder and harder things, or you won't improve.
We have multiple brackets generated in advance. Relax . (Kennigit) I just simply do not understand how it can be the time to play can be 22nd at 9:30 pm PST / midnight the 23rd at the same time. (GGzerg)

I don't agree with this advice. Even if you started guitar 2 hours ago, it won't take you long to get to the point where you can learn ANY song as long as you put in some time to practice it. Getting it to sound good (not just rhythm, but dynamics, tone, and etc.) is a different story. There's no such thing as hard songs, there's just hard guitar playing. Basic musical foundation is much more important than crappy/sloppy shredding and will probably be more enjoyable for you to listen to anyway.

also, tone and ear training both take forever to learn so you should really start early with those. if you're serious about practicing guitar, you're better off starting with stupidly easy songs so you can get a strong foundation as soon as possible, itll only help you to learn faster in the long run. honestly, it's not a bad idea to just learn open chords + basic barre/triad shapes + major scale and do nothing but practice using those three things and a metranome for 1-2 years. get to the point where you can think of a note or chord and play it anywhere on the neck without thinking. you should work on being able to recognize notes and chords by ear too

wrong. fingerstyle guitar, which i assume is what you mean when you say pluck, as opposed to using a pick, it REALLY makes a different what finger you pluck your string with, and what part of your finger you pluck it with (should be with your nail).

I have recently learned this song:

As Wangsta said, it is much more important to get proper basics and mechanics down. A common mistake many guitarists make is that they straight away go for their favourite songs that are far too hard for them, learn the notes and play them very poorly. Try to find some books on theory and technique. Learn how to build up finger stregnth and speed, and how to apply different things like vibrato properly. Try to play cleanly and nicely, and don't rush. Good luck

how hard you press down, how you hit the strings (and how hard) make a huge difference.

here are examples of songs that are extremely easy to "play" but very hard to play properly. i.e. you'll sound like crap if you just "press down and pluck the strings," it doesn't matter if your notes and rhythm are perfect
