Hey everyone. This is a thread to help spread awareness of the SC club @GT. We are a dedicated group of around 20+ members of which we normally have 10-15 per at each meeting. If you are interested in joining you can either pm me or come to our next meeting Monday October 5th 6-8pm in Klaus room 2443 I believe.
We are also hosting our First public event of the semester on either Friday or Saturday Oct 9/10 Where we will be celebrating the return of proleague with a showing in Klaus. We will try to meet around 11:00 pm and Lan until we watch the First proleague. We will hope to provide free pizza and drinks but we are still working the details of this out with SGA, so please show support and come to our next meeting.

you do realize that GT's first CSL match is right around that time right? i hope the coordinator has worked it out with the club, maybe you guys will play the match at the meeting. how exciting

I used to play with a guy named SCC-GaTech on USEast who went to Georgia Tech and he told me he was black, making him a rarity in the sc scene afaik. I wonder if he knows about your club.

I remember playing vs. him once. It was a 2v2 and he was about to drop a butt load of units at my base, but I scanned the dropships that were in his base. He still went ahead and dropped, and got mad because I was ready for him. He called me all sorts of names especially "map hacker".
But... it just shows that UGA > GT, right?

Yea sure you can come. Things have changed however because of our csl schedule and such, so we are going to be having the proleague showing on Friday night and CSL on sunday as of now. i doubt you'll want to come to the csl game but the proleague is still going on and its going to be fun so come out friday night.
and btw who is azure eye? Jae?
and uga << GT the only guy they have is chang and hes C+ max...we got asian master + na.roo + ed all of which are better than C+.

I hope I don't get in trouble for bumping this thread (since it's nearly two years old) but I tried PMing the original poster and didn't get a response.
Can anyone tell me if this SC club at Georgia Tech is still active? I'm transferring to GT in the Fall and will certainly be in need of SC2-playing friends, lol

I'm interested as well, I'll be going back to Tech for my second year in August and I'd love to get together with some people to play starcraft. I noticed that Georgia Tech fields a CSL team but the players on it are wayyyyyy above my skill level and I've never heard anything about them on campus so I dunno how open they are to less competitive players.. (i'm a gold zerg).
Also, to whom is reading this, if you were the Diamond Zerg who played starcraft in Dr. Leader's PSYC 1101 class last semester, I sometimes watched you... hope you don't mind. :p

Color me piqued as well. I'll be coming over to GT for my masters this fall, so I'm curious if there are many SC2 players around .
