When I first came to Canada I used Bell but I recall it being bad, I've had Rogers for about a year now and I haven't had any problems at all yet.

It's also the highest rated ISP on broadbandreports.com http://www.dslreports.com/gbu Also, if you fear torrent throttling, they offer MLPPP which circumvents the throttling for 4$ a month which includes Static IP if you want and the usenet group. I know I sound like a salesmen but there's really no other ISP you should use if you live in Canada. Check it out at least http://www.teksavvy.com/en/index.asp

I'll go ahead and assume Mb their bandwidth/$ per month is pretty sick, but they dont have a rent option for a modem ;( and their naked DSL has a bunch of extra costs too (who has a landline nowadays anyway ). and their activation costs are pretty killer ;(I could see how they could be a good deal for long-term though, I'll keep them in mind

My sister uses this and it's the shiznizz. She downloads gigabytes of stuff every day, and she still can't reach her cap. (They also have an unlimited bandwidth plan IIRC.)
