EPTAnyways I've been playing Starcraft since 1998 on and off but I never discovered the pro scene until I met someone by the name of MannerKiss. He really taught me everything there was to know about starcraft teaching strats that he learned from hots and introducing me to TL.net way back when I think it was 2004 I remember being here right as july came onto the scene and falling in love with his style trying to copy him
MannerKiss also showed me my first ever vod and others I'm sure.
I was instantly hooked on progaming and boxer.
Then one day I got myself into trouble when I read something that infuriated me on TL.net
This was my first account and most well known on bnet (Grouty [from the something awful forum post]) I got laughed out of TL because people thought I was draco

you promised me when i joined that the clan was gm, and clearly it isn't if you're willing to keep on a complete loser like DraCo. this is a pretty straightforward black and white issue.
honestly i could care less about guys bm'ing, that's just fags being fags b/c they can (mostly since it's online and there are no repercussions for talking trash over the internet :-P). the real problem is the LYING. the type of lying that DraCo is clearly at ease with is indicative of more that just a minor character flaw: i'm almost certain that he would be willing to (if he doesn't already) map hack/disc hack/abuse/etc. considering his honestly issues.
his attitude throughout the entire spectacle was so disgusting and dishonest that in the end i found it absolutely hilarious in a surreal way. he was so positively gleeful that he had "gotten the best" of me with his lying and fooled the rest of the clan, especially the so-called "leaders" (including you, apparently, and DaS). he's a piece of garbage and you giving him chance after chance just reflects poorly not only on your clan but also on you as "leader."
in short, if you're serious about clan nations being taken seriously you have to either stick to your line that your clan stands for good manner (and ban fags like DraCo) or just admit that manner and character don't matter, and it's all about if you "know" the members.

i don't mean to be a pest especially on my first post and especially to a gosu but, the way you stated this seemed to show a flaw in your character. No matter how far you may look into this you must remember starcraft is just a game and i dont think its worth ruining a friendship. im a firm believer that Manner>Skill and i always will. Sure the clan preaches GM but in all reality isn't DracO just jealous of you? what other use is there in making excuses and lying. I do however agree that there is a problem with draco, lying to such good friends continually. Thats unforgivable but holding accountable 1 person for an entire experience also shows that you crumble easily. Your Morals are strong and i commend you however i'm sad that you feel the need to leave a perfectly good clan because of "one bad apple" instead of working around him like any normal person would in the real world.

The reason I was so upset about this was because I was friends with people from Nations and having Uhjoo was a pretty big plus for their roster and the way he tossed them aside because of Draco just made me so upset.
In fact pretty much every foreign team that meant anything on PGT(still upset it went under stupid ICCUP clone of PGT) I was friends with the founders sMi. ft.Act Nations.
Some of the most fond memories I have were of Public Chat kj though with decafchicken, hnr)insane ETT, Wingedpanther(he was a ums map maker, something I used to dabble in) Amychan, Sharigan] and there was even a summer where I played with Artosis and asseM when they were getting ready for WCG. I don't think I was much help to them since they rolled me so much
.After that summer with artosis I met Dream[ReD] and we remain friends to this day. He helped me get much much better but I've never been able to dedicate myself to mass gaming to really improve my skills. Right now I'm only D+/C- where as he was A/A+ when he used to main terran.I remember telling him about Idra going pro and he responded with lol idra is a newb. I don't think he would say that anymore looking at idra play now...even though he never ggs
