As you may have noticed, we implemented some minor changes to the sidebar with the move to the new domain. The left sidebar had gotten ridiculously long, which meant that forums further down on the list got very little attention compared to those higher up.
As a result of the changes, we have cleared everyone's sidebar customization. You will need to re-apply your settings here.

What's the story with the name change?

On April 11 2019 13:45 MountainDewJunkie wrote: What's the story with the name change? They feel that there might be some confusion between players/viewers who follow the eports teams that carry TeamLiquid and the website. The website being a community for an initially starcraft based forum while not really having much to do with the actual esport team.
Maybe they're just cautious that comments on the site might conflict with w/e the team's ideals are.... imo anyone that actually cares/cheers for a teamliquid esports team is gonna know that their team name/brand comes from the teamliquid.net community forum, and if they dont know but are interested they'll find out anyway.
I thought/still think that Nazgul owns the liquid teams and teamliquid.net, theres no need to change things up.
the offical explanation is here: https://tl.net/forum/general/545373-teamliquidnet-becomes-tlnet

I liked the featured blogs

Gotta say, the banner feels really empty now.

What is the rationale behind removing featured blogs? I did not find any mention of this in the explanation message.
