firstoff: i would never use it.
still these days the sc2 forums became such a troll/QQ fest i can barely stand it anymore. i love TL and held it as the only gamecommunity where you dont have to read posts of sad 15 year olds that rage about the last loss.well that changed with sc2.
now i cant even read the sc2 general to stay up2date with whats going on without seeing pure QQposts and cryposts in disguise evrywhere. its just sad that these days the average thread in the sc2 forums has the same quality as threads in the bnet forums.and it makes me mad cause my favourite forum (well atleast the sc2 part of it) is going down the drain.
i fully realize that its very hard to draw a line here as a mod. at which point is it trolling/spam? does this guy try to start a valid balance discussion or is he just raging cause he got stomped 5 mins ago? i would love to see very strict rules against the crying but i understand its not easy
so why not create a subforum where they can "discuss" (cry) all day long? sure it would be the trashdump of TL with insane amounts of raging and tears going on. but atleast evryone who doesnt want to take part in it can just ignore it then.
atleast we would have a decent sc2 general board again that isnt 70% tears and balance spam :/
p.s. yes im mad

I'd rather search for 10 more mods than have a trash forum

You closed the randomer balance discussion. That makes sad, as it was the only one that wasn't full of whining. If it means less endless repetitive bullshit from people who don't know what they're talking about, I can live with it.

Please point them out to us via report or PM when we're missing them.

On a related note, how do you report? I've never been able to figure it out. I see many many shitty threads and I always feel like I should report them but I can't figure it out.

You don't have the required membership length to have a report button, see here.

OH, okay. Wow, not sure how I missed that... Guess i didn't search very well :x
Thanks for the clarification.

So you guys WANT us to point out balance/suggestion threads(aka QQ fests)? Am I hearing this right? =D
What if it's structured and organized and has some kind of sensible arguments inside? What if it actually makes sense and is backened by some sort of proof ? =( What then?
I can spam report all day long but what exactly are the criteria for such a thread to not be locked? Do the strategy forum rules apply to em? "Everything has to backed up by proof, yada yada yada"?

The fact that this suggestion exists means we have too many of these damn threads.

I totaly agree with the first post.
I´ve been lurking TL forums for years without an account. Just because of the quality of the threads I didn´t see myself in the position (with my limited knowledge and really bad english) to add something and therefor no need to even create an account.
Though I believe you will not even consider this, I would love to see the SC2 forums closed for some month to get rid of the current situation. ._.

When you are a game designer or work for blizzard, you can make a balance suggestion thread. I would estimate 5 people on this forum meet those criteria. We don't need a forum for 5 people. If you see a balance suggestion thread, PM me and I will close it.
