CJ Media, owner of the CJ ENTUS progaming team and also many cable channels in Korea, is planning its own progaming related content. Instead of tournament-style leagues, CJ Media will produce monthly "Superfights", K-1 style player vs player grudge match match-ups.
The first Superfight will occur on October 3rd, Tuesday, 17:00 Korea time. It will be held in COEX Pacific Exhibition Hall

Savior vs Boxer
Arkanoid
Blitz
Longius
Tau Cross
Arkanoid
Match 2
Boxer vs Yellow
Neo Jungle Story
Ragnarok
Arcadia II
New Peaks of Baekdu
Longinus
Boxer enrolls in October 9th, so this will probably be the last chance to see him in action before he joins the Korean armed forces.
These matches will be broadcasted live over a number of CJ Media's channels: XTM (action movie channel), Xsports (sports), Mnet (music MTV-style), in addition to GomTV (online streaming broadcasting) and Naver (internet portal broadcasting). .

Finally a BO series between Boxer and Savior!
Boxer vs Yellow will be cool too except that Boxer will auto-win the first two games. I would have prefered a game on Char instead of Ragnarok.

The Yellow-Boxer one is amazing, playing on those old school maps like jungle story and ragnarok, like back in coca cola osl..
That's very nice to see this happening, they're showing a lot of respect. there will be so much emotion! (that's also very good for CJ from a marketing point of view, very well done)

Just didn't quite understand will it be BO3 or no matter all 5 games will be played?

Yeah sorry fixed the date.
And I'm pretty sure it will be Best of Five. All five games will not be played if not necessary. CJ wants this to be a serious competition, not some event match.

damn that's awesome - we always hope the interesting matchups will pan out in regular leagues so the idea of having someone just pick out interesting matchups (and bo5 at that) is a great idea..

Awesome. I also love that "Superfight" idea.
Two TvZ bo5's in a row could be a bit tiresome for Boxer, though (if they're close at least).

The Boxer - Yellow maps are screaming for a fifth match. Jungle Story and Ragnarok will be Boxer's, Arcadia and New Peaks of Baekdu Yellow's.
